Understanding Youth-on-Youth Sexual Abuse and How to Address Problematic Sexual Behaviors
This presentation will address prevention along a continuum in an effort to support healthy sexual development. Participants will learn how to use context to determine when children’s sexual behaviors are inappropriate, problematic and/or harmful and how to respond to concerns about children’s behaviors. Participants will learn how to set healthy boundaries and how to speak up to keep children safe. The presentation will also discuss resources available to provide support for youth with problematic sexual behaviors and their families.
