Join Stan Sonu, MD, MPH, to learn about the connection between Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), toxic stress and negative health/behavioral outcomes. Dr. Sonu will also discuss the importance of building resiliency and integrating trauma-informed principles within the community, as well as how ACEs prevention takes place throughout multiple levels of the Social-Ecological Model.
Dr. Sonu serves as an assistant professor of general medicine and geriatrics and general pediatrics and adolescent medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. He’s also an associate program director for Emory’s Internal Medicine Residency Program.
