Introduction

Jill Flanagan, MD, is an Orthopedic Surgeon at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She received additional training in Baltimore, Md., at Sinai Hospital at the International Center for Limb Lengthening. Dr. Flanagan is trained in advanced techniques and technologies, such as using the Taylor Spatial Frame, TL-Hex frame and Precice nail. Her expertise in limb lengthening has led to invitations from the Baltimore Limb Deformity Course to teach others how to perform limb lengthening surgeries.

In addition to her limb deformity and limb lengthening practice, Dr. Flanagan has a keen interest in helping children with osteogenesis imperfecta and their families. She has a large clinical practice, and fosters a holistic and multidisciplinary approach when caring for these patients.

While Dr. Flanagan has interest in the entire spectrum of pediatric orthopedic surgery, her areas of focus include limb deformity and limb lengthening, osteogenesis imperfecta, trauma (treatment of broken bones) and promoting good bone health. Dr. Flanagan is also a consulting associate for the Duke University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
