As one of the largest pediatric clinical care providers in the country, we are setting the standard for pediatric care nationwide. Yet, our greatest accomplishment is the positive impact we make on the community we call home.

At Children’s, we believe that we—as healthcare providers and conscientious members of this community—have an obligation to provide every child in Georgia with access to the quality pediatric care they deserve. This means families know they can count on us when they need us most. We offer extensive programs and subsidized health services to enhance care and improve the health of all of Georgia’s children.

In 2021 alone, Children’s treated more than 400,000 kids from all 159 counties in Georgia. The total benefit we provided to our community in 2021: $299 million. 

We’re making a positive and lasting impact through:

• Unreimbursed clinical care for families unable to cover the cost of care
• Subsidized health services that would otherwise be unavailable in the community or would become the responsibility of the government or another tax-exempt organization
• Lifesaving research  
• Training programs for physicians
• Specialized pediatric care for kids and teens
• Specialty programs like hospital-based classrooms, child life specialists, facility dogs, chaplains, music therapy, family libraries and play areas
• Wellness and advocacy programs like Strong4Life 

Responding to the Needs of Our Community

As the demand for pediatric specialty care continues to grow, we’re committed to expanding our reach even further. Yet, we can’t do it alone. As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on the support of our community. We need Georgians to come together and to invest in our greatest asset, the one sure thing that will impact our future: our kids.
