About Our Internship Program

The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta neuropsychology department is part of the Emory University School of Medicine and Grady Health System predoctoral internship in clinical psychology. It is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA). We offer a general internship that includes a trauma track and a neuropsychology track.

The neuropsychology track offers rich and diverse training experiences through the neuropsychology services at three facilities: Emory University Center for Rehabilitation Medicine, Children’s and the Wesley Woods Health Center. Each site’s director is board certified by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology.

The neuropsychology track is based on APA guidelines for training at the internship level in clinical psychology and accepts four interns annually. In addition, the neuropsychology track meets APA Division 40, Houston Conference and Association for Internship Training in Clinical Neuropsychology (AITCN) guidelines for neuropsychology internships.
